AION 2 Assassin Build & Guide

Assassin now has a real Global level-45 baseline instead of a launch preview. Use this as the PvE starting point, then adjust for your party, encounter and current gear.

Level 45 PvE build

• Skill priority: Heart Gore → Insignia Explosion → Quick Slice → Savage Roar → Shadowstrike.
• Stigma baseline: Illusive Clone · Swift Contract · Triniel's Dagger · Savage Fang.
• Passive priority: Rear Smite → Assault Stance → Exploit Weakness → Impact Hit.
• Stat direction: Back Attack Damage Boost → Smite → Weapon Damage Boost ≈ Critical Damage Boost.

How to play

• Fight behind the target whenever mechanics allow; the class is built around rear damage.
• Use Quick Slice and Savage Roar to keep your flow moving and build the Insignias that feed Insignia Explosion.
• Fire Heart Gore after crits and use Illusive Clone as a real burst window rather than a random cooldown.
• Press Shadowstrike, Triniel's Dagger and Savage Fang manually when positioning or stagger timing matters.

Common mistakes

• Attacking from the front and giving up the class's biggest positional advantage.
• Exploding Insignias too early instead of building stacks.
• Using mobility only for damage and having nothing left when the boss forces repositioning.
