AION 2 Fire Temple Guide

Fire Temple is the first Expedition where movement discipline matters as much as gear. Kromede's Desire repeatedly forces the party to stop tunneling damage, read walls and spread correctly.

Boss mechanics

• When Kromede aims the bow at the ground, a red line forms toward each player. Move out of your own line; melee should back away because overlapping close-range lines can kill several players at once.
• During the flame-wall phase, rows of fire sweep the room with a gap in each row. Move through the gaps sideways and preserve enough stamina for the mechanics that follow.
• After the first walls, one clone appears per player. Spread, sidestep the clone's line attack, then move through or behind your own clone to avoid the wide fan.
• Later flame walls add more projectiles and fire paths. Read the path before committing to a gap instead of panic-dodging into the next wall.
• When sky arrows mark every player, step out before the stun lands. Kromede then leaps toward a far player and expands several rings around the landing point.

Role notes

• Tank: keep Kromede facing away, and if comfortable with a block/invulnerability, you can deliberately become the far target for the leap.
• Melee DPS: back off immediately for downward bow shots and return only after the second line sequence is safe.
• Ranged DPS: you are often a far-target candidate, so keep room to dodge the leap and expanding rings.
• Healer: bring the party back after wall burns, but players should also use healing potions instead of expecting every burn to be cleansed for them.

Why groups wipe

• Players burn all stamina on the first wall row and cannot dodge the next sequence.
• The group stacks during the clone phase and overlaps multiple strips/fans.
• Melee stay glued to Kromede during the downward bow attack.
• Repeated movement mistakes cut uptime until the roughly five-minute enrage takes over.
