Updated 6 Oct 2026 · KSTAION 2 Global is free-to-play with an optional Special Quai Membership. Current launch pricing is $14.99 for 30 days, and the membership is economically important because Market and Quna Exchange access are tied to it.

Free-to-play, currencies and paid access
AION 2 Global is free-to-play. Its paid model combines cosmetics, a Battle Pass, Quna and the optional Special Quai Membership; the membership also controls access to important player-economy systems.
The Market and Kina↔Quna Exchange connect players rather than acting like a simple NPC gold shop. Active Membership is required for those economy features on Global.
NC describes paid cosmetics separately from consumables, while the paid Battle Pass can include progression materials and in-game currencies. For that reason, calling the entire paid model 'cosmetic only' would be inaccurate.
Direct player-to-player trading was disabled for the Global launch as an anti-bot measure. Older Membership benefit lists that mention Personal Trading are no longer a reliable description of the live Global economy.
