Aniimo FAQ: the launch questions answered

Yes. Aniimo is free with in-app purchases on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, iOS and Android. Nothing has to be bought to play.

Not for creatures. According to the producer, Aniimo are not obtained through random pulls: you catch them in the world. The studio does publish official rates, notably for Prismana variants, with a pity counter.

Pawprint Studio (Pawprint Interactive Entertainment Pte. Ltd.), a studio connected to FunPlus. The publisher varies by source: Steam lists Pawprint, while parts of the press cite Kingsglory or FunPlus.

The Steam page lists 13, including English, French, German, Japanese, Korean and Brazilian Portuguese.

Cross-platform multiplayer is announced on the Steam page. Shared progression between PC, console and mobile has not been confirmed in writing yet: we will update this page as soon as it is.

Yes: Aniimo2026 (20 Glimmers). You enter a code in the game settings, under Account. The up-to-date list is on our Codes page, where every code is tested in game.

No breeding between two Aniimo. Eggs are very real though: you hatch them in the Outpost and Home Hatchinators, and some guarantee a rare form.

It is the ability to transform into an Aniimo you have caught, to move around, solve puzzles or fight. Each species grants a different movement ability.

It is your mobile base, a camper van that travels with you. Your Aniimo hold jobs there and produce resources, including while you are offline.

Three independent things. Prismana is an Aniimo form, like regional or weather forms. Sparkling is a mutation layered over any form, with twelve types, two of them hidden. Umbrabow is a separate category, whose members are called Umbral. All three can stack.

Yes. Its in-game effect states that catching is guaranteed, potential is Perfect, and the Aniimo will always be Sparkling. The Aniipod Ultra guarantees the catch and at least Elite potential.

On the map, press Aniimo Distribution in the lower-left corner, or zoom all the way out: you get each region's collection progress and weather. If the entry is greyed out, the area is not unlocked yet. Otherwise it is nearly always a question of time of day or weather.

There is nearly always one requirement still open. The game mixes eight families, including exact-location, personality and passive-talent requirements, which do not look like something an evolution would ask for.

That is a French translation error. On the second resonance star, the French text reads "Atteignez le niveau 25" while the English string and the game data both require level 35.

The game sets no power ranking: it gives each species a role (DPS, Break, Support, Heal, Regen). Some roles do not exist for some elements — healing, for instance, only exists in Water and Wind.

Because the game applies a level-gap correction, and it only works one way: being above the target's level grants no bonus, being below costs more and more, and the penalty steepens sharply from about five levels down.

No. It is a fan site with no connection to Pawprint Studio, Kingsglory or FunPlus. Aniimo and related content belong to their respective owners.
