1. Go to Bloomville
On the road, your companion tells you that the Irisalis belongs to the Iris family, and that an ordinary Iris has to work incredibly hard to become one. It also feels that, long ago, someone paid homage to Helion and Lunara the way people make offerings at the festival.
Nicole is waiting for you along the way: the festival only happens once a decade, and both the Prismana Flow and the Irisalis are worth investigating. She is still worried about the ruins. Your companion reassures her: the other little Aniimo is sleeping in the mural to recover, since it never Twined with you. All along the road, Aniimo are fast asleep. You follow a sweet, dizzying scent to a censer. Once you knock it over, a white Iris wakes up… along with a girl who had Twined with it: Sunia, a perfumer from Bloomville. Her new incense, made with scales from Velouria the Somniwing, turned out far stronger than she expected.
Step by step
- Take the road to Bloomville; Nicole joins you.
- Keep heading toward the village and find the source of the fragrance: the censer, which you knock over.
- Catch 3 sleeping Aniimo. As Nicole points out, a sleeping Aniimo is easier to catch.
- Follow Sunia to Bloomville.
Section rewards: 1,000 Safaris, 10 Growth Fruit, 30,000 Credits, 2,000 Aniimo EXP, 10 Aniipod Pros.
2. Ceremony Preparations
In Bloomville, built along the Vein, people and Aniimo make perfume together. On the plaza, in front of a bronze statue, the feather you found near the Branch starts to glow and pulls you into a dream. An Aniimo introduces itself there: Aeolus, ruler of the Zephyr Coast. He tells you the ancient cube you carry is the “Core”, and shows you a vision: figures in black robes reached the ruins before your instructor and, using a counterfeit of the cube, took the companion you didn’t choose from the mural. Before fading, Aeolus says he may be able to appear again once the Vein recognizes you.
A call from Bohr confirms it wasn’t just a dream. Lita warns that you could be targeted too. Your companion, for its part, can sense that the other one isn’t hurt. Sunia explains that the statue depicts Aeolus, the Aeon of the Zephyr Coast, to whom the Bloom Festival was originally dedicated before it was offered to Irelia.
Elder Jaeger, an old friend of your principal, tells you what comes next: after the ceremony, the Irisalis Irelia awakens, flowers bloom and Prismana shines; some children also receive the blessing “of flowers and butterfly shadows”, from Irelia and Velouria the Somniwing, queen of the Flutternyms. Sunia received it ten years ago and will lead this year’s ceremony. Every participant must offer a perfume they made themselves: Selene explains how to gather aromathysts, Arlo refines them, and Sunia teaches you to blend, describing scents as colors.
That evening at the Elder’s house, Nicole explains why the expedition is investigating: the Prismana Flow, once the stuff of history books, now appears regularly around the festival. In your room, the Elder’s books, translated by BINI, describe Aeolus and the Guardians, Aniimo born of the land and empowered by the Aeons. Could Irelia be one? In the morning, Jessica tells you that Aeolus vanished about a hundred years ago, and that only Irelia has appeared at the festival since.
Step by step
- Enter Bloomville and activate the village Bloom.
- Talk to Sunia, then visit the plaza and inspect the stone statues: the dream scene triggers.
- Greet Elder Jaeger.
- Ask Selene how to get aromathysts. Remember her advice: gather during the day, because Dewies return to their nest at night; the easiest way is to Twine with a Dewy.
- Catch a Dewy, Twine with it and gather duskwhisper nectar, then fly back to the nest to get aromathysts.
- Go to Arlo at the Perfume Workshop to turn them into essence. You also receive a Dusky Fragrance.
- Learn perfume-making from Sunia, then blend your own: solvent, essence, stir, then an Aniimo ingredient. Iris petal: Pink Shadow Draught; Flutternym scales: Dreamy Mystery; Dewy feather: Blue Lake Down.
- Stay at the Elder’s house for the night: switch to night and get ready to rest. This is the step that unlocks the day/night switch used by other quests.
- Discuss tomorrow’s plan with Nicole (at night), then go upstairs to rest.
- In the morning, collect the Bloomville outfit the Elder prepared, then leave the house for the festival (during the day).
- You can also ask Jessica about the statue’s history.
Section rewards: 1,000 Safaris, 1 Irisalis Petal, 10 Growth Fruit, 30,000 Credits, 2,000 Aniimo EXP, 10 Aniipod Pros. The outfit is “Plumeville” or “Feathered Bloomville”, depending on your character.
3. The Unbegun Ceremony
On festival day, the plaza is packed. The countdown ends… and nothing happens. No flowers, no Prismana. A gust sweeps the plaza and Velouria appears on a rooftop, mocking the “little performance”: Irelia doesn’t seem to agree. The village panics, and Jaeger asks you to find Sunia before she does something rash.
You find her packing her bags. She believes she is the first perfumer in a century to fail the offering, because she tried to blend both flowers and Velouria’s scales into her perfume. She also tells you that her blessing ten years ago came from Velouria. You and Nicole notice something doesn’t add up: why would Velouria, who lives deep in Lumenfly Valley and hates intruders, show up at every festival? Sunia decides to guide you to her, to apologize, thank her and understand what went wrong. Getting into the valley, sealed by Velouria’s scales, will take a special perfume.
Step by step
- Talk to the Elder and attend the festival (during the day).
- Look for Sunia: she is getting ready to leave.
Section rewards: 600 Safaris, 1 Irisalis Petal, 10 Growth Fruit, 30,000 Credits, 2,240 Aniimo EXP, 10 Aniipod Pros.

Frequently asked questions
When does the day/night switch unlock in Aniimo?
During this chapter, at the “Stay at the elder's house for the night” step of the Ceremony Preparations section. Several Journey quests require you to have progressed that far in the main story.
How do you make the perfume for the Bloom Festival?
Catch a Dewy, Twine with it to gather duskwhisper nectar during the day, fly back to the nest to get aromathysts, then have Arlo refine them at the Perfume Workshop. Sunia then walks you through it: a solvent (ethanol is the safest), a little essence, a stir, then an ingredient provided by an Aniimo.
Which Bloomville outfit do you get?
Elder Jaeger prepares one for you on the morning of the festival. Depending on your character's body type, the quest gives “Plumeville” or “Feathered Bloomville”.
