The World Inside the RV: Aniimo Home Quests walkthrough

This is Aniimo's big Homeland quest chain, with a prologue and ten acts, split up by milestones that ask you to upgrade the RV. Fannie, from GoGoHomes, gives you an RV containing a folded space: you fill it with farmland, woodland, mines and Aniimo, deliver orders from Astra, then build your own residential district.

1. Prologue: The Wondrous RV

A strange vehicle is parked in Nimbus Fields. Its owner, Fannie, introduces it as Astra’s most brilliant invention: the mini GoGoHomes RV. Behind the back door hides a folded space, far bigger than an Aniipod’s, where several Aniimo can live, where you build houses and gardens, and which keeps producing resources.

BINI #9 spoils the mood: at Astra’s new technology showcase, the project only got two votes. Fannie brushes it off — being misunderstood is every genius’s fate — and offers you a deal: a brand new RV in exchange for becoming a trainee agent who sends her feedback. After a detour to free the stuck wheels, dug out by her Budclaw Yan, you collect your vehicle at the Sea of Flowers RV Park, register with Ben, and step into your Homeland: an empty lot that needs cleaning.

Fannie then teaches you the basics: the Warehouse, farmland plots, the wheat recipe, Plant Growth Tonic, then the orders from Astra’s merchants and the Co-op Store for selling surplus.

Step by step

  1. Go see the vehicle in Nimbus Fields, then follow Fannie on a tour of the RV.
  2. Collect your RV: pick its look, give it a name, then talk to Fannie.
  3. Head to the Sea of Flowers RV Park, find Park Manager Ben and activate the park, then find your vehicle.
  4. Enter your Homeland and clean up the empty lot.
  5. Talk to Fannie (5 Wheat Seeds), view the Warehouse screen, place a farmland plot, open the Farmland Settings and set the recipe to Wheat.
  6. Plant the wheat (5 Plant Growth Tonics), then place 4 farmland plots.
  7. Head to the Service Hub to browse the Seed Shop, then view the orders from Astra.
  8. Harvest Common Wheat, pick it up and submit the order. Sell the surplus to the Co-op Store.

Section rewards: 300 Safaris, 30 Glimmer, 15,000 Credits, 100 Bud Tickets. Collecting the RV also gives 100 Home Coins, 200 Bud Tickets and 5 Wood Blocks.

2. Act 1: Together with Aniimo

After the first milestone, Aniimo can move into the Homeland. Fannie explains the essentials: the Aniimo you take adventuring stay in their Aniipod, the others live here; a sluggish Aniimo is simply hungry, and eats Energy Bites or food cooked on site.

She then installs the Storage Unit, linked to the Warehouse, the Woodland for planting trees, and the Carousel Mill, powered by Wind-type Aniimo, which grinds wheat into Wheatmeal. The production, storage and processing loop is complete: Wheatmeal orders pay better than raw wheat. Fannie throws in a Hatchinator and a Fentuft egg. The Aniimo, for their part, naturally head to the facilities that match their element.

Step by step

  1. Upgrade the RV to level 2 (Homeland milestone), then talk to Fannie.
  2. Place an Aniimo in your Home, check its status (50 Energy Bites) and feed it.
  3. Talk to Fannie to receive a Storage Unit, then place it.
  4. Listen to Fannie introduce another facility (320 Home Coins, 1 Woodland Level 1, 1 Carousel Mill Level 1), then place a woodland plot and the Carousel Mill (100 Wheat).
  5. Use the Carousel Mill to process Wheatmeal once: you receive a Hatchinator and an Incredible Fentuft Egg.

Section rewards: 300 Safaris, 30 Glimmer, 15,000 Credits, 100 Bud Tickets, 50 Energy Bites.

3. Act 2: A Richer Harvest

Astra’s merchants want other materials. Fannie comes in person to explain that facilities can level up too: an upgraded farmland accepts new crops, and the RV’s Ecological Module affects everything that grows in the Homeland. She adds a centralized management system so you no longer swap crops plot by plot.

Since the Homeland needs more Aniipods, she supplies an Aniipod Maker so you can craft them yourself, then a Mine, which keeps Earth-type Aniimo busy and provides the ore that system upgrades need.

Step by step

  1. Upgrade the RV to level 3, then answer Fannie’s call (70 Home Coins).
  2. Upgrade a level 1 farmland plot to level 2 and place a level 2 plot (180 Home Coins, 1 Modification Toolkit).
  3. Talk to Fannie, upgrade the RV’s Ecological Module to level 1, then set the farmland to the Quick Wheat recipe.
  4. Keep talking to Fannie (360 Home Coins), install the Aniipod Maker and set its recipe (12 Rocks).
  5. Process an item with the Aniipod Maker, then talk to Fannie to receive a level 1 Mine and place it.

Section rewards: 300 Safaris, 30 Glimmer, 15,000 Credits, 100 Bud Tickets.

4. Act 3: A Whole New Formula

A short interlude: Fannie calls to say more and more Astra merchants want to work with you. Her team has developed a batch of new recipes, such as potato chips, and you need to dig a well for water. Orders can be refreshed, the number of dishes you can prepare each day is limited, and rush orders pay double. GoGoHomes’ relay stations also open to the public.

Step by step

  1. Upgrade the RV to level 4.
  2. Answer Fannie’s comms call.

Section rewards: 300 Safaris, 30 Glimmer, 15,000 Credits, 100 Bud Tickets.

5. Act 4: Go Out and Explore (parts 1 and 2)

A golden Nimbi is hanging around outside your Homeland: it’s Momo, the Aniimo of Yu, station master at Driftwise Meadow and a friend of Fannie’s. Momo brought back a Sweetfern Nut, highly sought after in Astra and impossible to grow in the Homeland, then an egg found outside — Aniimo are drawn to eggs of their own family or form.

Hence Fannie’s idea: install a transmitter on the RV so Aniimo can be sent on outings without getting lost. After the next milestone, the RV Park gains two extra terrace levels, Aniimo head off to play and bring back gifts, and Fannie gives you Element Gems to exchange for Element Essence. Placed on your personal platform, it grants an element blessing when you sit down for a cup of tea — a blessing that lasts a limited time, and which you can also get on a neighbor’s platform.

Step by step

  1. Upgrade the RV to level 5 and place farmland, woodland and a Mine (milestone).
  2. Check the noise at the Homeland entrance, talk to Fannie and Yu, then look at the egg Momo brought back.
  3. Upgrade the RV to level 6 (milestone), then answer Fannie’s call and return to your RV Park.
  4. Check out the upgraded RV Park and send an Aniimo on an outing once.
  5. Talk to Fannie (1 Hemp Rope Fence, 2 Element Gems), decorate your personal platform, place an Element Essence, then check the platform board.

Section rewards: 300 Safaris, 30 Glimmer, 15,000 Credits, 100 Bud Tickets (for part 2).

6. Act 5: Climate Control System (parts 1 and 2)

GoGoHomes receives an order for flowers, so the Homeland needs modifying. Once the RV hits level 7, the climate control system arrives — “outdoor air conditioning, right in the middle of nowhere”. It lets you grow Cherry Blossoms in the Woodland, provided you surround it with a Heat Furnace.

Step by step

  1. Answer Fannie’s call, then upgrade the RV to level 7 (milestone).
  2. Upgrade a woodland plot to level 3.
  3. Set the Woodland recipe to Cherry Blossom (5 Cherry Tree Seeds) and plant them (1 Heat Furnace).
  4. Place the Heat Furnace around the Woodland, then take Fannie’s call.

Section rewards: 300 Safaris, 30 Glimmer, 15,000 Credits, 100 Bud Tickets.

7. Act 6: The Dream House (parts 1 and 2)

Fannie asks for your user feedback: what’s missing is somewhere to sleep. Her solution is to connect the decorative virtual space to a real folded space, creating a residential district — which needs yet another system upgrade.

She introduces Yama, GoGoHomes’ furniture designer, who improvises a bridge out of furniture to cross to the new plot. There you get a model home to place, demolish or rebuild, a catalog of building materials and furniture, and the option to assign Aniimo to construction. Aniimo active in the residential district produce Bud Tickets — the mental energy Yama calls “wish stars” — which the Bud Ticket Jar collects automatically, until it fills up.

Step by step

  1. Answer Fannie’s call, then upgrade the RV to level 8 (milestone).
  2. Meet Fannie at the Co-op Store, cross the bridge and explore the residential district.
  3. Talk to Fannie, check on the Aniimo in the Homebuilding Zone, then talk to her again to receive the Bud Ticket Jar.
  4. Place the Bud Ticket Jar. Fannie and Yama say goodbye.

Section rewards: 300 Safaris, 30 Glimmer, 15,000 Credits, 100 Bud Tickets.

8. Act 7: Astra’s Festival Season

Another interlude: Astra merchants order festival supplies. Fannie explains that in Astra, where everyone lives side by side, any holiday is a good excuse to gather — and to run a promotion. She asks you to meet her in person at the entrance of the Aniimo rest area.

Step by step

  1. Upgrade the RV to level 10 (milestone).
  2. Answer Fannie’s call.

Section rewards: 300 Safaris, 30 Glimmer, 15,000 Credits, 100 Bud Tickets.

9. Act 8: Facilities, Orders, and Life (parts 1 and 2)

This is the emotional heart of the chapter. While visiting other Pathfinders’ Homelands, Momo saw Aniimo worn out from running between facilities. To Fannie, that’s unacceptable: the Homeland exists so Pathfinders and Aniimo can live well together, not to fill orders. She spends the night looking for a solution, fails, and finally admits what gnaws at her: the second vote at Astra’s showcase came from her mother, the inventor of Aniipod mass production. She dreams of opening a new era, and wonders whether her Homeland really is “more idealistic than practical”.

You, Yu, Yama and Ben remind her what already exists: Aniimo playing together under the stars, a home you can carry anywhere, crops, trees, flowers. If the Aniipod opened a road to a new land, GoGoHomes covers it in flowers. A few days later, inspiration strikes while watching two Electric-type Aniimo play: a power module that turns outside energy into electricity so facilities run without wearing the Aniimo out.

Step by step

  1. Upgrade the RV to level 11 and place farmland, woodland and a Mine (milestone).
  2. Answer Fannie’s call, talk to her, switch to night in your Home, then head to the center of the plaza.
  3. Upgrade the RV to level 12 (milestone), then answer Fannie’s next call.
  4. Upgrade the RV’s Power Module to level 1 and place an Aniipod Maker.
  5. Place a Crackle Generator (given to you) so the machine sits in its power area, switch the Aniipod Maker to E-mode and assign an Electric-type Aniimo to it.
  6. Talk to Fannie.

Section rewards: 300 Safaris, 30 Glimmer, 15,000 Credits, 100 Bud Tickets (for part 2).

10. Act 9: Lucky Gift

Fannie turns up with a surprise: a Bubble Gachapon, which Yama built after taking inspiration from a Gachapus. GoGoHomes has enough partners in Astra for the capsules to hold just about anything, including prizes from the Polaris Institute. Officially it’s a thank-you gift for your tester feedback — definitely not for “last time”.

Step by step

  1. Upgrade the RV to level 14 (milestone).
  2. Answer Fannie’s call and go check out her surprise.
  3. Assemble a Bubble Gachapon in the Homebuilding Zone, then talk to Fannie.

Section rewards: 300 Safaris, 30 Glimmer, 15,000 Credits, 100 Bud Tickets.

11. Act 10: Starry Sky and Flowers

Astra’s annual new technology showcase comes around again, and Fannie presents GoGoHomes there. You watch her speech live: the Homeland isn’t a brand new technology, she admits, but it offers young Pathfinders another way to live on Idyll — a place of their own to come back to, and to invite others into. This time, the project lands an investment and the backing of Astra’s new technology initiative.

Fannie thanks you, and also thanks the Polaris Institute: the previous year, the only other vote came from them. BINI #9 puts that in perspective by checking the archives: the Institute votes for every project entered because, in Principal Oswen’s view, what people ignore today may become tomorrow’s hope.

Step by step

  1. Upgrade the RV to level 20 with an Aniimo (“RV Heading the Future” section).
  2. Watch the live footage from the showcase, then talk to Fannie.

Section rewards: 300 Safaris, 30 Glimmer, 15,000 Credits, 100 Bud Tickets.

The Homeland’s milestones

Between acts, the “The Homeland’s New Milestone” section acts as a gate: you have to upgrade the RV’s core system, and sometimes place plots again. In journal order: level 2, 3, 4, then 5 with farmland, woodland and a Mine; level 6, then level 6 again with farmland and woodland; level 7, then a plots milestone; level 8, level 10, level 11 with all three plots, level 12, level 14, and finally “RV Heading the Future”, which asks for level 20 with an Aniimo.

Characters you meet

  • Fannie: inventor of the GoGoHomes Homeland and daughter of the inventor of Aniipod mass production. Her Budclaw is called Yan.

Frequently asked questions

How do you get the RV in Aniimo?

Go see the vehicle parked in Nimbus Fields and talk to Fannie: she gives you an RV in exchange for becoming a trainee agent for GoGoHomes. You then collect it at the Sea of Flowers RV Park, after activating the park with Ben.

Why is the rest of the chapter locked?

Between acts, a “The Homeland's New Milestone” section asks you to upgrade the RV by one level, sometimes with plots to place as well. So you need to stockpile funds and materials (Wood Blocks, Mineral Sand) before moving on.

What do Aniimo placed in the Homeland do?

They work at the facilities matching their element and produce resources. According to Fannie, the higher their elemental power, the more efficient they are, and some regional forms do better than others.
